About Donations

I know what you’re thinking, “Real nice! She’s taking donations in order to support her sock monkey habit. The nerve!”

Yes that’s right. Maybe. Er…  No, I can’t believe you thought that.

All joking aside, the donations go to the nonprofit Monkey Do Project and our efforts to help the most distressed regions of the Appalachian. This includes (but is not limited to) creating and partnering on projects, purchasing items for donations, administrative costs (shipping/mailing costs, website, etc.), and any other costs associated with the project.

As the project grows (we are just getting it off the ground), I am more than happy to share publicly where donations go and how they are being used.

Can I donate other items in addition to/instead of money?

Yes! Please donate all sock monkeys to Jackie Wilson, PO Box…
