About
A Girl, Some Monkeys, and A Weird Obsession
I’m not quite sure when my sock monkey obsession started. I loved sock monkeys as a kid, but it didn’t really turn into an obsession until adulthood. (Sad, but true.)
(Shut up.)
I started Rock the Sock (Monkey), a site for “discriminating sock monkey enthusiasts,” to celebrate and highlight awesome sock monkey finds across the Internet. (You’re welcome.)
If you have a sock monkey product that you would like spotlighted on the site, feel free to contact me.
Additionally, I was looking for an outlet to build my new effort to help the poverty-stricken people in the Appalachian region who have a 150% average poverty rate over the rest of the U.S. One night, after tossing and turning and thinking about starting this site and how I could help the Appalachia region, the Monkey Do Project was born.
Go ahead, you know you want to monkey around.
Peace, Love and Sock Monkeys,

Jacqueline Wilson (aka: Monkey Girl)
